NOAH RINKER TIPS HIS HAT TO THE FREE SPIRITS ON “TUMBLEWEED”

Continuing his breakthrough year, rising singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Noah Rinker announces The Pines EP — due out October 24 — with his new song, “Tumbleweed”. Out now via Warner Records, the stormy single is a moving tribute to the free spirits among us, and a prime example of the Yosemite-bred troubadour’s warm and heartful Americana.

Noah’s name also appears on the recently released poster for Stagecoach Music Festival 2026, building on a run of head-turning festival appearances this year including CMA Fest, FairWell Festival, We Fest, and — next week — Salt Lake City’s RedWest Fest. Following recent tours with Texas riser Ty Meyers and the legendary Dwight Yoakam, Noah plays his first ever headliner at The Troubadour in West Hollywood on October 21, then hits the road again this fall in support of Wyatt Flores and, separately, Sam Barber. Full itinerary below.

Following last month’s viscerally heartbroken and evocatively acoustic “Matches & Gasoline,” Noah’s latest single embraces a full-band sound. Co-produced by Noah with Ian Fitchuk (Leon Bridges, Kacey Musgraves), “Tumbleweed” rolls forward like a dark cloud over a mountaintop, driven by tumbling piano, a memorable guitar line, and Noah’s plaintive voice: “Are you where you wanna be? Are you somewhere in between? / Giving up or giving in to the mercy of the wind? / Are you lost or are you free, tumbleweed?” The song builds to an explosive finish.

The new music arrives shortly after Noah was named to PEOPLE’s hotly tipped Talented Emerging Artists list, which proclaimed, “Noah Rinker’s music feels like morning coffee in the mountains, making him the perfect addition to your fall playlist.” He also recently landed on Holler Country’s “10 Country and Americana Artists You Need to Know,” with the publication noting that, “Noah Rinker’s songs feel like coming home to something you know and love.”

In June, Noah released his Burning DaylightEP, delivering a captivating sonic tapestry of unfiltered feelings, detail-rich narratives, raw instrumentation, and palpable truth. Dubbed “an authentic and hopeful journey through life and music” by Ones to Watch, the set debuted two songs — the electric and hummable “99” and the gently unfurling “No Friend of Mine” — alongside beloved tracks like “Ripple,” “The Bend,” “Red Bandana,” and “Wherever I Go.” The latter not only adorned the cover of Amazon’s bonfire playlist, but also held the No. 1 slot on Spotify’s Hot Country playlist, showcasing the broad draw of Noah’s magnetic folk-pop blend.

Buzzing out of the mountains of Yosemite, California, Noah initially made waves posting covers and originals on TikTok. He enraptured listeners with a stripped-down sense of soul, conveyed through shuddering acoustic guitar chords and stark lyricism punctuated by his vulnerability and powerful storytelling. This approach attracted hundreds of thousands of followers in addition to generating viral moments and north of 8.1 million likes across TikTok and Instagram. He caught the attention of Warner Records’ in 2024, signing to the label and kicking off a new chapter.
