ODUMODUBVLCK announces debut album due October 6th
Nigerian rap powerhouse ODUMODUBLVCK has officially announced his long-awaited debut album INDUSTRY MACHINE, arriving October 6th via Native Records / Kalacious Entertainment. Alongside the release date, he unveils the album’s striking artwork, created by global disruptor Slawn & acclaimed artist Soldier.
The announcement follows the explosive success of lead single “Pay Me” featuring Stormzy and Zlatan, now A-List on BBC 1Xtra, with Jack Saunders championing it on Radio 1 and Capital Xtra adding it to playlist rotation
It’s been a landmark 2025 for OD. His single “Pity This Boy” featuring Victony has amassed nearly 40 million Spotify streams, with its video approaching 2 million views on YouTube. The track peaked at No. 2 on the UK Official Afrobeats Chart and propelled his April mixtape The Machine Is Coming to debut at No. 1 in Nigeria and climb to No. 6 on Apple Music’s UK Hip-Hop Top Albums chart.
Beyond the music, ODUMODUBLVCK has carved out a singular cultural presence – fronting Patta & Nike campaigns, collaborating with visual provocateurs Slawn, Soldier Boyfriend and Ciesay (Places+Faces), and lighting up stages from Skepta’s Big Smoke Festival to Burna Boy’s historic London Stadium show. He also featured on Headie One’s 2024 album The Last One, contributed to Pa Salieu’s Mercury-nominated Afrikan Alien, and was named in Rolling Stone’s Future 25 this year.
With INDUSTRY MACHINE, he sets his sights on a project that matches his scale, ambition, and global reach – a defining body of work from one of rap’s most fearless voices.
