American Country band, Old Dominon, formed in Nashville is a ecstatic 5 person band that recently toured in Toronto, Canada. The band consists of Matthew Ramsey (load vocals and rhythm guitar), Trevor Rosen (rhythm guitar & keyboards), Whit Sellers (drums), Geoff Sprung (bass guitar), and Brad Tursi (lead guitar). Their adaptive contemporary country style mixes rock instrumentation and pop overtones. Travelling to Toronto, Canada, for their No Bad Vibes tour, Old Dominion managed to sell out the Scotiabank arena, with a capacity of 19,800 seats. As you can imagine, this insanely energetic arena added so much to the experience.
Starting off with a Grammy nominated songwriter, Steven Lee Olsen, he performed his top hits, including “Raised by a good time”, which has over 18 million streams on Spotify. But what’s unique about him is the fact that he was born and raised in Canada, which makes this experience a whole lot more meaningful to him. One thing he mentioned that I will never forget is that he has been in this arena countless of times to watch concerts and live sports, but never in a million years did he expect to perform on stage.

Second opener to the stage goes by the name of Frank Ray, American singer and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. His energetic performance was a key element in hyping up the crowd for Old Dominion and boy did he deliver. Performing his top hits, which include “Country’d look Good on You” and “Wine Talk”, he delivered his talent with exceptional presence.

The moment Old Dominion set foot on stage, I have never seen such a raging and lively crowd. Performing their songs from all of their albums, from Memory Lane, to Time, Tequila & Therapy to Happy Endings, I’m sure the country band created lifelong memories for the crowd. But the highlight of the night was definitely when they performed “One Man Band” their life changing viral song that reached over 300 million streams on Spotify. Overall, although this Country Band is fairly new, they have already made such a big impact on the Country game and I’m excited to see where these next few years take them!
