ONE OR EIGHT Releases “KAWASAKI (with pH-1)” Featuring Popular Korean Rapper pH-1!

Rising boy group ONE OR EIGHT released a remixed version of their hit track “KAWASAKI,” titled “KAWASAKI (with pH-1)”. The new remix of the hit track features pH-1, South Korean hip hop artist and a founding member of H1GHR MUSIC. The newly reimagined “KAWASAKI (with pH-1)” retains the original’s Jersey club essence while incorporating stronger trap elements, creating an even more danceable and energetic beat. The track offers a fresh interpretation with a driving rhythm, enhanced by pH-1’s delicate yet powerful verses, delivering a compelling message of determination and challenge.

Of the collaboration, pH-1 shared, “When I first heard ‘Kawasaki’, I felt like ‘omg I’m gonna spit some things on this track right away’. I think the group raps with such a natural swag that made me want to join the track as an artist. And collab with Big Sean, who’s had a huge influence on me, was absolutely incredible.”

The original version of “KAWASAKI” was unveiled in June ahead of ONE OR EIGHT’s official debut, quickly gaining massive attention with its performance video reaching over 10 million views within just 10 days. The track captivated audiences with its synchronized dance moves set against the backdrop of roaring motorcycle sounds and a powerful bassline.

At the end of last year, the group collaborated with six-time Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean on “KAWASAKI (with Big Sean),” which ranked #5 on the U.S. iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Songs chart and secured the #14 spot on the Billboard Japan Songs (US) chart.
