BIG SEAN RELEASES MUSIC VIDEO FOR “IT IS WHAT IT IS” FEATURING GUNNA
Multi-platinum-selling hitmaker and GRAMMY-nominated lyrical powerhouse Big Sean releases the official music video for “It Is What It Is” featuring Gunna off his critically acclaimed sixth studio album Better Me Than You (Def Jam Recordings).
Directed by Diego Cruz, the video for the “standout cut” (Rap-Up) that Rolling Stone called a “Song You Need To Know” showcases both Sean and Gunna rapping against various urban backdrops around Los Angeles, spitting take-no-prisoners bars such as “Face all on the front page, I don’t give a f**** about no backlash / I’ve been backstabbed and laughed at / We gon’ see who gets the f*****’ last laugh.”
“It Is What It Is” is track seven on Better Me Than You, the album in which Sean takes the listener through a 21-track journey toward self-exploration, responsibility, and coming to terms with (while enjoying) the complexity and wonder of the human experience.
