PAOLA JARA TO BRING COLOMBIAN REGIONAL MUSIC TO THE 2026 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS STAGE

Paola Jara, one of the most prominent female voices in Colombian regional music, has been confirmed among the artists set to perform live at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, taking place on Thursday, October 22, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami. The ceremony will air live at 8:00 p.m. ET / 7C on Telemundo and Peacock.
Her performance comes during a significant week for the singer, who will also take part in Billboard Latin Music Week on Wednesday, October 21, joining Jessi Uribe, Jay Wheeler, and Zhamira for the “Love & Music” panel. Held at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach, the conversation will bring together both couples for an intimate look at love and music through their personal and artistic experiences.
With more than three decades of experience, Paola has helped pave the way for women in the genre, bringing her music to stages across the Americas and Europe. Rooted in emotion, heartbreak, and everyday stories, her artistry has established her as one of the most recognizable figures in Colombian regional music, a genre that continues to gain visibility throughout the Latin music industry.
The singer arrives at this major event following a year of remarkable milestones, including her 2026 GRAMMY nomination for Best Música Mexicana Album (Including Tejano) for Sin Rodeos, the release of Despecho a 2 voces alongside Jessi Uribe, and the international expansion of her Vuelve tour, with performances across Colombia, Ecuador, and Europe. Together, these achievements underscore her growing global presence and the increasing prominence of Colombian regional music beyond its borders.
At the ceremony, Paola Jara will join a star-studded lineup featuring Elvis Crespo, Ha*Ash, Jessi Uribe, Nanpa Básico, Nella, Tony Dize, Manuel Turizo, Ozuna, and Pablo Alborán, among other performers.
Hosted by Carmen Villalobos and Javier Poza, the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards will mark the culmination of Billboard Latin Music Week, taking place October 19–22 in Miami. Tickets to attend the ceremony are available through Ticketmaster.
