Ozuna and Beéle officially release STENDHAL, their highly anticipated collaborative album
A 14-track project that blends afrobeats with their Afro-Caribbean roots and the essence of Latin urban music, along with other rhythms
Puerto Rican multi-award-winning star Ozuna and Colombia’s breakout urban sensation Beéle celebrate today the official release of STENDHAL, their first collaborative album. The 14-track project solidifies their artistic connection and marks a new creative chapter for both artists.
The album, available today on all digital platforms, delivers a vibrant sound built on afrobeats, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, world-music influences, and both the essence and modern variations of Latin urban music. The result is an innovative proposal that resonates on a global and emotional level. With high-caliber production and a narrative full of sensory detail and emotion, the album’s concept draws on the so-called Stendhal Syndrome, in which art profoundly affects one’s senses and perception.
During the creative process, Ozuna and Beéle incorporated touches inspired by major hits from popular Latin music, weaving them into the album’s sound in a fresh, organic way. Notable influences include “Ale,” which features elements inspired by Fernando Villalona’s iconic merengue “Carnaval (Baile en la Calle)”, and “Enemigos,” featuring Ovy on the Drums, which reinterprets elements of Aventura’s classic bachata hit “Los Infieles.” The upbeat and catchy “Te Culié” includes a playful nod to the global phenomenon “Aserejé” by Las Ketchup, adding a culturally recognizable and fun layer. “Antes de Irme” carries a melodic touch inspired by Xuxa’s beloved children’s pop classic “Ilarié.” These inspired elements serve as subtle homages that enrich the album’s cultural depth without compromising its modern or original character.
Recorded primarily between February and April 2025, STENDHAL brings together an impressive creative team that includes producers such as Flambo, Ovy On The Drums, Legazzy, Yazid, Dynell, Golden, Daramola, Hake, and Ríos.
In addition to Ozuna and Beéle, the songwriting credits highlight creators like Diego León Vélez, Edwin José Collazos de la Hoz, Andrés Jael Correa Ríos, Zaider, Daniel Guerrero Ramos, Yazid Rivera López, Joan M. Ubinas, among others.
Engineering for the project was handled by Roberto “Mr. Earcandy” Vázquez, Mosty, Ricardo Sangiao and award-winning international engineer Jordan “DJ Swivel” Young.
The collaboration between Ozuna and Beéle grew out of a deeply creative process driven by experimentation, artistic freedom, and an easy, natural dynamic between the two. The result is an authentic, emotional, and global sound where their styles merge organically while maintaining their individual identities.
“This project was born from a real connection in the studio. With Beéle, it was easy to build something different, playing with sounds, roots, and emotions. STENDHAL is a journey we took together to give people music that truly feels,” Ozuna said.
Beéle added, “Working with Ozuna was a natural and creative experience. Every track came from the vibe of the moment, mixing our influences and what we wanted to express. We want everyone to feel the energy and the heart we put into this album.”
