PARAMOUNT+ BRINGS A MOUNTAIN OF ENTERTAINMENT TO CCXP BRAZIL APPEARANCES FROM PAUL GIAMATTI OF STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY, PEYTON LIST OF SCHOOL SPIRITS AND UFC’S ALEX PEREIRA AND THE FIGHTING NERDS

Paramount+ brought a host of talent to CCXP at the São Paulo Expo to showcase their respective new series, including: Paul Giamatti of STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY and Peyton List of SCHOOL SPIRITS S3.

Paramount+ also celebrated its historic new partnership with UFC at the event, with Brazilian hero, current and two-time UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and members of the popular Brazilian MMA team The Fighting Nerds (Bruna Brasil, Carlos Prates, Caio Borralho and Jean Silva), and UFC broadcaster Andre Azevedo also in attendance.

Giamatti, List, Pereira and The Fighting Nerds delighted fans during the Paramount+ Thunder Stage presentation. Key highlights included:

• Giamatti’s conversation on STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY kicked off the Paramount+ panel, with fans treated to an exclusive scene debut from the upcoming series.

• SCHOOL SPIRITS’ List hit the Thunder Stage to much excitement from fans.  In her segment, List revealed the premiere date for the series’ upcoming third season.

• The UFC showcase at CCXP was hosted by Azevedo and featured Pereira recreating his iconic walkout, and The Fighting Nerds who discussed their time on DANA WHITE’S CONTENDER SERIES. Fans were later surprised by a virtual appearance from UFC President & CEO Dana White who revealed that new seasons of DANA WHITE’S CONTENDER SERIES and THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER will be coming to Paramount+ exclusively in the U.S., Latin America and Australia.

Additionally, talent visited the Omelete Stage and took part in themed immersive experiences and a photocall at the Paramount+ booth.
