PEEKABOO TEAMS WITH SKRILLEX, FLOWDAN, AND FIREBOY DML FOR PARTY-STARTING “6 MILLION”
ANNOUNCES SOPHOMORE ALBUM ARE WE DREAMING? SET FOR RELEASE ON JANUARY 23, 2026 VIA MAJOR RECORDINGS / WARNER RECORDS

Detroit dubstep innovator PEEKABOO teams up with superstar producer Skrillex, UK grime vet Flowdan, and Afrobeats luminary Fireboy DML for “6 Million”, a driving club cut powered by hypnotic vocals and a subtly catchy hook. The track is the latest single off of PEEKABOO’s upcoming album, Are We Dreaming? out January 23.
Despite the massive talent on deck, “6 Million” finds strength in simplicity. Trunk-rattling bass and skittering drums surge and recede within the eerie atmosphere, carving out space for a pair of party-starting Flowdan verses — “Buckle up get ready for the ride / Never slip, never slide, real amplified” — and Fireboy’s unignorable dancefloor call-to-action: “Shake your body.”
“6 Million” also continues a rich history of collaboration for PEEKABOO, Skrillex, and Flowdan. The trio first came together for “Hydrate” from Skrillex’s early 2023 album Quest for Fire, then reunited for PEEKABOO’s huge 2023 hit, “BADDERS,” which has 31 million streams to date on Spotify alone and eventually landed on his official debut album, Eyes Wide Open.
The new single follows PEEKABOO’s collab with rising Montreal talent borne, “Want It,” a powerful club weapon that EDM.com wrote “showcases the magnetic synergy between […] two of today’s most gifted producers of dubstep and bass music.” Since then, PEEKABOO also linked with heds for a certified nasty carRADIO set from the backseat of a rolling 1999 BMW 323 — he previewed unreleased cuts including a new one with Flava D and Scrufizzer.
Amid a seemingly endless stream of festival dates, PEEKABOO has been dripping out new tunes to an eager fanbase. Before “Want It” came the hypnotic heater “Yeke Yeke” featuring shimmering guitar and vocals from the Afro-Caribbean collective KUENTA. Once PEEKABOO establishes the cut’s unshakeable groove, he lets loose waves of squelching synth and wild percussion — further proof that he can’t be boxed in by genres or geographical borders.

PEEKABOO kicked open his current era with his fiery major label debut, “One More Time” featuring Scrufizzer, which Skrillex worked into his Ultra 2025 set and Billboard blessed with “best new dance tracks” status, writing, “built around a buzzsaw bass, the track is an absolutely hectic body-pummeler.” Meanwhile, EDM.com raved that, “His filthy, frenetic bass sounds like it’s chewing asphalt as Scrufizzer’s spitfire delivery cuts through with genuine menace.”
Over the past decade, PEEKABOO has reshaped the sound of modern dubstep. His 2019 EP, Wrecking Ball, debuted at #10 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart, while early collaborations like “Babatunde” with G‑Rex were hailed as genre milestones. His official debut album, Eyes Wide Open, dropped in 2023 and features electronic music luminaries including Skrillex, Zeds Dead, LYNY, and Grabbitz, as well as his father, the trumpeter Bill Lucas.
PEEKABOO’s ascent continued in 2024 with more than 20 sold-out headlining shows and over 45,000 tickets sold in the U.S. alone. He also nabbed “Bass Artist of the Year” in EDM.com’s Artist Choice 2024 roundup. This year, he’s pitched in on a few select collabs — “GO!” with Jon Casey, “leaving (don’t tell me)” with WINK, and “Gut Feeling” with Caspa — while turning his attention to the festival circuit. This year, he’s notched celebrated sets at EDC Mexico, Ultra, Lightning in a Bottle, Beyond Wonderland, FVDED in the Park, HARD Summer, and many more. PEEKABOO will close out 2025 at the three-day alpine escape Tahoe Live. More info HERE.
