PETER MCPOLAND REFLECTS ON THE MEANING OF HOME IN NEW SONG “A PLACE LIKE THIS”
Indie alternative musician Peter McPoland has unveiled his new song “A Place Like This”. Written and produced by Peter on Twitch in just one day, the song evokes an escapist dream as soft guitar entwines with a bright piano melody. Simultaneously, Peter sets the scene, “Under the night sky, you look so pretty in my arms.” The song is “about the change, as well as the love, for open space and newness,” says Peter.
The song arrives with an official video that was written and directed by Peter. The fun and quirky visual finds a space man and his dog crash landed on an unknown planet, and they must make a choice whether or not to return “home”.
On November 22, Peter will depart for his 12-date headlining Buddy Tour, which will take him on the road through December 7. Peter will also join Jack Kays for his 2nd annual Jack’s Jam in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 29. See full list of dates below and on petermcpoland.com.
