PHILLY’S RISING INDIE ARTIST CHIOKE SHARES NEW PROJECT ‘WHEN IN DOUBT’
Rising Philadelphia artist, Chioke, shares her new project When In Doubt via Core Valu/Bread & Butter. Produced by Tommy Love. Chioke brings a fresh perspective to her music which sits at the crossroads of alternative and R&B.

Chioke is one of music’s most magnetic new voices, blending sultry, cinematic vocals into a raw, ethereal sound. With her roots in spoken word and a journey shaped by loss, her story began in a bedroom studio with her best friend and producer, Jay Dreamer, whose passing left an indelible mark on her music. Each track is a punch of feeling, inviting listeners to embrace life’s highs and lows with open arms. In Chioke’s world, every note is a story, every song a rebellion against the ordinary.
This project follows her recent single release “My Doctor” and Chioke’s performance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on June 1, 2024, where she performed six months pregnant–persevering through Chioke gave an energetic and captivating show showcasing her theatrical stage presence which can be heard in the recorded music.
