For those that enjoy pop rock, you may have heard of a band called “The Beths”. If you haven’t heard about them then you should check, your Spotify or local venues to see if they are coming to your city for this year’s tour! They hale from the beautiful Auckland, New Zealand and have been around for about seven years with many albums, tours, and singles to show for it. Another big help that pushed their name to the top next to many was their debut album “The Future Hates Me” that was released in 2018 and was able to gain a few awards from New Zealand.

During their tour, that had a nice stop in the great city of Georgia and to many locals here in Atlanta, they were excited to the point the show was completely sold out within a few weeks of their announcement.
The Beths opener Lunar Vacation is a band that is more mellow, soft vibe, and cool tones which was nice for a soft opening. Their performance was like no other and sounded amazing to which many would not know (as well as myself) they are also local to the Atlanta area.

As the show progressed, Lunar Vacation’s set had the crowd by its hands, singing along to their songs, and were excited their parents go to see them play. As they left, the crowd was agar to see The Beths. While most bands have their own people who tune their instruments, The Beths decided to take it on themselves and covered their faces as well as their shirts to look like tour staff. Some of the audience members knew it was them, but most were even noticing or really didn’t think it was them at all.

The Beths set was spectacular, lively, and joyful to the city of Atlanta! The vibes they brought from New Zealand were wholesome as they introduced themselves one by one to the crowd, so they know who is who. Something more artists should consider having each band member know rather than just the singer. Their time at the masquerade was like no other and played their heart out throughout the night and is a must see show!
