PRESLEY HAILE SHINES ON NEW SINGLE “SUNNY DAY” – A FEEL-GOOD ANTHEM FOR ANY SEASON

Texas-born singer, songwriter, and guitarist Presley Haile releases her new single “Sunny Day” via Columbia Records.

It may seem like the grass is always greener elsewhere, but Presley’s “Sunny Day” stresses the importance of embracing what you have, where you stand, and who you are in the moment. Gently picked acoustic guitar and sparse piano underline plaintive, pensive, and poetic verses. Her full-bodied vocals take hold as she bids, “Goodbye clouds and rain, off to find a sunny day. The pace picks up, and she reaches a realization, “Flying blind catch the wind and ride hoping better fate unwinds fill the void inside.

“I’m calling myself out,” admits Presley. “When my parents got divorced, we moved around a lot, but I never moved too far. In my adult life, I get less inspired by the scenery around me, and I’ll think, ‘I want to go to Colorado or Arkansas. I just need some place new’. I realized it’s okay to put the work in where you are and water your own grass instead of hunting for something better or greener. Being comfortable in the gloom is something I had really struggled with. The message is, ‘Stop longing for your sunny day. Start being okay with what you’re dealing with right now’. I’m learning how to be okay in it and even thrive.”

With her soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics blending vintage country, Americana, and alternative folk, Presley takes the stage at the Fort Worth Music Festival this Saturday, March 1st, ready to captivate with songs born from her unique experiences.
