Q MARSDEN ANNOUNCES NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
South Florida-born singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Q Marsden announces his North American tour in support of his sophomore album, DO YOU SEE ME?, out now via Columbia Records. The fall run will see Q bring his new body of work to stages across the U.S. and Canada, beginning November 3rd in Toronto, ON, with stops in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Written and produced by Q alongside collaborators including Romil Hemnani and Jacob Olofsson, DO YOU SEE ME?is an expansive portrait of a mind learning to embrace itself. Drawing from soul, jazz, funk, R&B, and experimental pop, the 15-track album moves fluidly between tenderness, anxiety, humor, and wonder, using shifting structures, layered vocal performances, and unexpected turns to mirror the way thoughts collide, overlap, and resolve. The album features appearances from Deb Never, Marco McKinnis, and UMI, and includes previously released singles “hey there [i have a compulsive complex]” and “i wish you were here.”
Created during one of the most transformative periods of Q’s life, DO YOU SEE ME? finds the artist embracing complexity rather than trying to impose order on his inner world. The result is his most adventurous and fully realized work to date, building on the musical universe first established with his debut album Soul,PRESENT.
Q first broke through with his gold-certified single “Take Me Where Your Heart Is,” earning acclaim for his emotionally rich songwriting and virtuosic musicianship. With DO YOU SEE ME?, he continues to push the boundaries of his sound, creating music that is deeply personal while remaining expansive and sonically unpredictable.
