Rio Da Yung OG Prepares For Mega-Tour, Shares “Sneaky B” Video

Rio Da Yung OG is one of his generation’s finest wordsmiths, effortlessly putting together never-before-heard phrases that most emcees could not have even conceptualized. On his new single “Sneaky B,” Rio unleashes an endless cascade of out-of-pocket punchlines, approaching tried-and-true rap topics from odd angles: “I’m with a young smacker, he done killed more people than Corona did/Yeah, I’m in a four-wheel drive SUV doin’ donuts in it/It’s a supercharged, my money super large/You ain’t gotta believe anything I said, but the scooter bar,” he spits. In the video, directed by 2M Digital, Rio rocks Carhartt overalls and totes a Louis bag while he does donuts in his lime green Lambo on the lawn of a mansion. The song and video mark the end of a chapter for the Flint, MI native, as he prepares to take another step towards freedom: “Sh*t end July 11th, but I feel like I made it,” he says.

The first glimpse at Rio’s upcoming album F.L.I.N.T. (Feeling Like I’m Not Thru), “Sneaky B” arrives as Rio prepares to launch his first-ever tour. The epic “Welcome Home Tour” spans over 60 dates, kicking off in Detroit on July 17th (Music Hall Detroit) and passing through San Francisco on August 10th (Regency Ballroom), Los Angeles on August 12th (The Belasco Theater), Houston on August 30th (9pm Music Venue), and New York on September 24th(Webster Hall) before concluding in Chicago on October 11th (Patio Theater). The follow-up to his 2025 EP RIO FREE, recorded shortly after Rio ended a bid in federal prison in December 2024, and its February expansion RIO FREE (Something Happen), F.L.I.N.T. is one of Rio’s most focused and cohesive projects to date, paying tribute to the hardscrabble hometown that raised him and the fans who continue to hold him down. F.L.I.N.T. On July 17th, Rio returns to his hometown for the first time in four years, making an appearance at Flint Harmony Fest IV, an annual neighborhood gathering that celebrates unity, peace, and resilience. The fest will feature food trucks, performances, DJs, and more. A family-oriented event, Flint Harmony Fest aims to strengthen Flint’s neighborhoods through healing services, cultural expression, and youth empowerment.
