RISING SONGSTRESS, ACTRESS, & WRITER TANERÉLLE RELEASES NEW ELECTRIC HONEY (ENCORE) EP

Buzzing space age songstress, actress, and writer Tanerélle expands the world of her buzzing Electric Honey EP with a brand new four-track companion piece entitled Electric Honey (Encore) EP out now via Republic Records.

She continues to stretch the boundaries of her sonic and thematic vision in widescreen. Among many highlights, “Houston (with Austin Millz)” fuses her arresting vocals to a prominent beat punctuated by stark piano. She wrangles with moving on from an ex who she can’t quite shake. Elsewhere, “For Her (Chemtrails)” captivates with a synth loop and slick drums. Picking up the momentum, she gets in her feelings and wonders, “How could I blame her now that we’re strangers?” Then, there’s “Let Me In (Cosmic Symphony).” She recharges the fan favorite “Let Me In” with blockbuster-worthy orchestration. It only adds weight to her powerhouse refrain, “I’ll be your saint, just let me in.”

Next up, she brings this vision to life on stage. Tanerélle will embark on her first North American headline run, The Electric Honey Tour. It kicks off on November 11 at Cambridge Room in Dallas, TX, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and concludes in California with a show on December 6 in San Francisco at The Independent and a final gig on December 8 in Los Angeles at The Bellwether. Right out of the gate, Billboard touted the project on its “R&B/Hip-Hop Fresh Picks of the Week,” hailing it as “a strong collection of songs that builds on the atmospheric foundation of 2021’s ‘Nothing Without You’.” VIBE touted it among “New R&B For The Soft Life,” assuring, “She may be considered R&B’s outlier, but she puts the soul back in the genre.” Beyond plugs from Rated & R&B and more, The Knockturnal raved, ”Deep, sultry, sexy, groovy, dancing, and acoustics is what describes this well thought out and perfectly curated EP.” From beginning to end, the eight-song EP illuminates the expanse of her ever-evolving sound and vision.

2023’s For Sport EP has already tallied millions of streams worldwide highlighted by “For Sport” and “Smear Campaign.” Through her music that she has released thus far independently, she has accumulated over 100 million streams. Additionally, she toured all over Europe as a part of Masego’s “Where We Goin?” tour.

Tanerélle crash landed with a sound and style unlike anything else in the culture, piling up tens of millions of global streams and building buzz on her own terms as a creative maverick.
