ROSALÍA’s new album LUX has delivered the strongest global debut of her career, dominating charts across continents and reaffirming her position as one of the most influential and boundary-breaking artists in music today. With historic results in Spain, record-setting performances in France and the United Kingdom, multiple #1 debuts across Europe, her highest-ever placement in the United States, and impressive momentum across Latin America, LUX arrives as a landmark achievement in ROSALÍA’s artistic evolution.

In Spain, LUX achieved a truly unprecedented debut, coming very close to reaching 52K SEA in its first week a figure that sets a new modern benchmark for the market and places ROSALÍA in a league of her own. The album surpassed the first-week performances of previous global blockbusters, solidifying LUX as a once-in-a-generation commercial and cultural moment.

LUX now holds every major modern record in Spain, including, the most successful album release in Spanish streaming history, the best-selling first-week album in Spain since streaming, debuting directly as Platinum, the highest first-week SEA total recorded in Spain, and the best-selling first-week vinyl album in Spain since the vinyl chart launched.  These milestones powered the album’s #1 debut in Spain, marking a defining home-country victory for ROSALÍA.

Across Europe, LUX continued its extraordinary trajectory. In France and Portugal, the album achieved the highest week-one album sales for a Latin/Hispanic artist in streaming history. Across Latin America LUX delivered exceptional results on Spotify’s Weekly Album Charts, reaching #1 in Argentina and Chile, with strong Top 10 placements including #3 in the Dominican Republic and Panama, #5 in Peru and Brazil, and #9 in Mexico and Colombia.

Globally, the album debuted at #1 on Spotify’s Global Weekly Album Chart, making it the most-streamed album in the world this week.
