“SamSam” – Animated Outer Space Adventure Opening August 7th – Screeners, New Trailer, Key art and Stills now Available

Based on the hit French television series of the same name, the English language feature out of France was produced Academy Award nominated producer Didier Brunner (ERNEST ET CÉLESTINE, THE BIG BAD FOX AND OTHER TALES), Damien Brunner (PACHAMAMA). Gaëtan David (THE DEATH OF STALIN), and André Logie (THE DEATH OF STALIN). It is directed by Tanguy de Kermel, who directed the original TV series, with the screenplay written by Jean Regnaud (THE BIG BAD FOX AND OTHER TALES) and Valérie Magis (MY FAMILY AND THE WOLF). Both the film and television series were based on the character created by Serge Bloch who wrote the original children’s book series.

SamSam seems like he has it all: great family, great friends, and even his own flying saucer. But he’s still trying to find one thing that will make his life even better – actual superpowers. Thanks to Mega, a mysterious new student in school, SamSam’s about to find them – while learning what it really takes to fight monsters and how many ways there are to be a hero.
