SASHA KEABLE RELEASES HER LONG-AWAITED EMOTIONALLY-CHARGED PROJECT ACT RIGHT
British-Colombian rising R&B star Sasha Keable makes a triumphant return with her most visceral and emotionally charged project to date, the highly anticipated ‘act right’ project out now via The Fight Club Records/Sony Music UK.
Written in the aftermath of a painful breakup, ‘act right’ charts an emotional journey from anger and despair to self-reflection and empowerment. “This project comes from a place of betrayal and heartbreak,” says Sasha. “I felt like if I didn’t make this music I might lose my mind. I made this project for myself, it’s exactly what I needed.”
With her powerhouse vocals front and center, the Project blends nostalgic R&B stylings with cutting-edge soul. It features rising stars Beam (on the sultry, self-assured “Work”) and Leon Thomas, this year’s biggest R&B breakout, who co-wrote and features on the project’s focus track “move it along”. act right follows a string of celebrated releases from Sasha this year.
