SCARLIP RELEASES “BIG GIRLS” FEATURING FENDIDA RAPPA & DANK!

2025 has been an eventful year for ScarLip, who released her debut mixtape, Scarred B4 Fame, formally stamping herself as one of New York City’s brightest and versatile young stars with a wide range of music that included collaborations with Anthony Hamilton and Lil Wayne. She presses her foot back onto the pedal with the release of her new single, “Big Girls” featuring FendiDa Rappa and Dank, which has already generated viral buzz across social media.
On her latest release, Scar is joined by star Chicago rapper FendiDa Rappa who paces the song with a razor-sharp middle verse and contributions from viral Detroit up-and-comer Dank.
Prior to the song’s release, Scar teased it across social media to rave reviews. The teases particularly impacted TikTok, where the snippet has earned 30,000 creates and the anticipation of Scar’s audience.
Scar’s ability to craft resonate anthems precedes her; Scarred B4 Fame’s highlights include the ode to darker complexions, “Melanin,” and an homage to the “Eastside” haunts she comes from. The tape, released in June, received critical acclaim from Rolling Out, Vibe and The Hype Magazine, and was prominently featured in an ABC News television interview, where the Bronx native discussed the “escapism” that characterizes her music and songwriting gifts. “I loved ELA class, and it just led to music,” she told ABC’s JuJu Chang. “I always loved music – it’s my therapy. It just made sense.”
