Scene Queen’s Bimbo Beta Pi tour hit the stage at the Masquerade in Atlanta on Wednesday. Scene Queen, aka Hannah Collins, is an American singer who created her own genre called “Bimbocore,” the feminine themed version of metalcore, after getting her start on Tik Tok where she currently has over 600,000 followers. Her debut EP, Bimbocore, was released in April 2022, and her follow-up EP Bimbocore Vol. 2 was released in November 2022. Her debut full-length album is coming in spring 2024 and will be entitled “Hot Singles In Your Area.” The overarching theme for the evening definitely seemed to be “female empowerment,” and that was felt via the lyrics as well as the energetic performances and stage presence of each band.
The show opened with the Los Angeles-based pop-rock band RIVALS, which consists of singer Kalie Wolfe and drummer Josh Alves. With empowering lyrics and catchy melodies, this band definitely set the mood for the evening. The crowd loved every minute of their set, and Kalie did a phenomenal job of commanding the stage.

Next up was 6arelyhuman, a scene-inspired artist who makes energetic emo dance and club music. Accompanied by DJ Pixel Hood, 6arelyhuman took the stage and kept the energy high for the entire set.

Scene Queen headlined the show, held on the Hell stage at the Masquerade. Dedicated fans handed out handmade bracelets with Scene Queen’s song titles on them before and during the show, and sang along to every song. Her strong stage presence and empowering lyrics had the audience going wild, and the pink stage props and faux sorority house facade definitely gave the whole show an ultra feminine vibe. Fans truly seemed to connect with Scene Queen and her music, and many of them dressed the part as well. In addition to themes of female empowerment, the LGBTQ+ community was well represented by each band on the tour.
