The Premiere of Season Two of KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB’S UNDER YEARS is Part of the Year-Long Celebration
of the Landmark 25th Anniversary of Nickelodeon’s ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’
Paramount+ has revealed that the second season of the original animated series, KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB’S UNDER YEARS, will debut with all 13 episodes on Wednesday, July 10. This exclusive premiere will be available on Paramount+ in the U.S. and in international markets where the service is available. The series, produced by Nickelodeon Animation, will launch just before the 25th anniversary of the iconic series SpongeBob SquarePants, which first aired on July 17, 1999.
In the second season, SpongeBob and his friends make a lively return to KAMP KORAL for another summer filled with excitement. The camp’s activities range from all-nighters and monster lessons to unearthing a prehistoric creature, all contributing to the best summer ever!
The cast of KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB’S UNDER YEARS includes Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton), all reprising their memorable roles. Carlos Alazraqui (The Casagrandes) and Kate Higgins (Blaze and the Monster Machines) also return as Nobby and Narlene, the narwhal siblings who reside in the woods near the camp.
Paramount+ serves as the ultimate streaming destination for SpongeBob enthusiasts, offering more content from Bikini Bottom than any other streaming platform. Alongside KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB’S UNDER YEARS, the 13th season of SpongeBob SquarePants and the first season of The Patrick Star Show will be accessible on the service starting July 10. These additions join the existing SpongeBob content on Paramount+, which includes seasons 1-12 of SpongeBob SquarePants and theatrical releases like The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. From July 1, Paramount+ will also commemorate the milestone with an updated SpongeBob Universe collection, new character-themed episode carousels, a SpongeBob takeover on the Paramount+ app loading screen, and new SpongeBob-themed profile avatars featuring fan-favorite characters.
Marc Ceccarelli (SpongeBob SquarePants) and Vincent Waller (SpongeBob SquarePants) are the executive producers of the second season. The production of KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB’S UNDER YEARS is supervised by Kelley Gardner, Vice President of Current Series Animation at Nickelodeon. The series is a product of the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank.
