STEVE LACY RELEASES FIRST NEW SONG IN THREE YEARS “Nice Shoes” Out Now via RCA Records

Grammy-winning artist, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Lacy has put out his first new music since hitting #1 on Billboard and Spotify charts with his critically-lauded sophomore album, Gemini Rights, in 2022.  The song, entitled “Nice Shoes”, was written and produced by Lacy.  And while Lacy may have been absent, his music has not –  his high school-made demos steadily eclipsed 2 billion streams, landing his songs “Dark Red” and “Bad Habit” in the coveted Spotify Billions Club while also both going platinum.

The song comes quickly on the heels of Lacy gracing the cover of the September issue of Rolling Stone, where he discussed the creation of his forthcoming album, Oh Yeah?, which is still a work-in-progress and currently without a release date.
