The night opened with Elley Duhé, Teddy’s best friend and Alabama native, who sang a mix of familiar and new songs from her album “Phoenix”. Elley was grateful for the warm welcome from the Toronto audience.
The lighting was simple yet perfect for Elley’s mysterious presence. She was graceful and had the audience mesmerized with her performance. Her voice was ethereal, and the way she connected with the crowd was impressive. She was the perfect opener for Teddy Swims.

As the crowd patiently waited, Teddy Swims emerged to the stage rocking a customized Toronto Argos Jersey. He started with his hit song “911,” and the crowd went wild. Teddy’s energy was electrifying and playful, and his stage presence was nothing short of captivating. The screams were non-stop, and the audience was completely enthralled by his performance.
Teddy’s voice was timeless, and every emotion he conveyed was heartfelt. He has a way of connecting with his audience that makes them feel like they are the only ones in the room. Before singing the first track on his album titled “Some Things I’ll Never Know”, he talked to the audience and explained his healing process. He was still going through the motions of the song and asked the crowd to bear with him if he shed some tears.

Teddy’s message to his fans was powerful. He said, “The way people treat you is a reflection of the way they see you, and the way you let people treat you is the reflection of how you see yourself.” His words resonated with the crowd, and they cheered him on as he sang his heart out.
One of the most impressive things about Teddy’s performance was the interaction with the audience. He made eye contact with his fans and even took the time to read some of their signs. The way he connected with his fans was authentic and genuine, and it made the concert experience even more special.
