TEEZO TOUCHDOWN SAYS “I DO” WITH NEW SINGLE “HONEYMOON NIGHT”
Grammy-nominated artist Teezo Touchdown returns with a new single, “HONEYMOON NIGHT”, out now via Not Fit For Society / RCA Records.
Initially chosen by fans during a casting call where Teezo posted an audition tape performing the song, “HONEYMOON NIGHT” is a seductive slow jam exploding with Teezo’s signature flair and uniquely innovative spin. Accompanying the release is a series of music videos capturing Teezo and his bride from the dress fitting to their first dance, seeing Teezo once again push the boundaries of what a music release can be.
Teezo declares: “Do you take Teezo Touchdown to be your lover when you’re lonely, your partner when your back is to the wall and the only way out is through, your trainer when the weight is too heavy on your chest, your comedian when you need a laugh, your oil when you’re ashy, and your deodorant when you’re musty? I now pronounce me yours.”
Garnering cosigns from music legends such as Madonna, André 3000, Janelle Monáe, and more, Teezo Touchdown is crafting a one-of-a-kind sound that serves as an ode to each genre that has shaped him as an artist, solidifying his presence as one of music’s most inventive new creators. Reaching #1 on the Alternative Albums chart in 49 countries worldwide with his debut album, How Do You Sleep At Night? in 2023, he followed suit with an extended version of the album the following year, featuring three new tracks.
Since then, he has collaborated with a wide array of artists including Drake, Doja Cat, Latto, CORTIS, Destin Conrad, and Tyler, The Creator, the latter of which earned Teezo his first Grammy nomination in Best Rap Performance for “Darling, I” at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. After supporting Tyler, The Creator, Don Toliver, and Travis Scott on the road, he embarked on his own sold out, 24-date ‘Spend The Night’ world tour, including two nights in Los Angeles as well as stops in London, Paris, Berlin, Toronto, and more. Most recently, he teamed up with award-winning global superstars BTS on their latest chart-topping album ARIRANG earlier this year, co-writing the songs “Body to Body” and “Into the Sun.”
