Portland faces quick turnaround with midweek match against New York Red Bulls on Wednesday

The Portland Timbers conceded a first-half goal and were unable to rally, falling 1-0 to D.C. United in front of 25,218 fans at Providence Park on Sunday afternoon. Portland returns to action with a midweek home contest against the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
