This album also had the RIAA Platinum, Grammy nominated hit single “Residuals.” Chris Brown was also the musician with the most wins this year at the NAACP Image Awards garnering three awards, including one for Outstanding Male Artist, which he’s won four times and is tied with Usher for winning the most times. This past weekend he won two more awards – Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Viewer’s Choice Award (for “Residuals”) – this time at the 2025 BET Awards. To date, Chris Brown currently stands as the R&B singer with the most Hot 100 entries in Billboard history. And with his additional 21 new RIAA certifications, Brown is in the top 10 of all artists across all genres with the most RIAA multi-Platinum certifications. See list of new certifications below.
Presented by Live Nation, Breezy Bowl XX tour kicked off in Europe on June 8th in Amsterdam. The tour features support from three of R&B’s powerhouses: 7x Grammy nominated artist Jhené Aiko, Grammy nominated, multi-platinum hitmaker Summer Walker and 3x Grammy nominated, multi-platinum artist Bryson Tiller. Due to overwhelming demand, Brown has added various new show dates to this tour including a third night in Atlanta at Bobby Dodd Stadium on October 3, and second nights at Detroit’s Ford Field on August 7, Toronto’s Rogers Stadium on August 20, and Washington, DC’s Nationals Park on October 8. Brown has also added a fourth show in Manchester, UK and second shows were also added in London, UK; East Rutherford, NJ; Atlanta, GA; Arlington, TX; Las Vegas, NV and Los Angeles, CA, following high demand in the markets.
