All I can say is WOW! UK artist Lucy Spraggan played an incredible show. This is her first US and International tour and this week, she performed at The HighWatt (Mercy Lounge) in Nashville, Tennessee. When she stepped out, the crowd were hyped and so fascinated with her English accent. Her opening song ‘Fight For It’ gives each individual encouragement to never give up. One unique thing about Spraggan’s music is that, she tells a story in her songs like no other artist I have heard before. The crowd went wild when she played a song most people can relate to. For example, during the weekend when you drink just a little too much. The Song ‘Grown Up and Dinners Ready’ reminds everyone in that room about the steps of growing up and living life.

Lucy Spraggan is an English musician from Buxton, Derbyshire in the East Midlands regions of England. She is currently signed to Cooking Vinyl Records. In 2012, she auditioned for The UK X Factor where she performed her own masterpiece, “Last Night”. After the show, Spraggan was signed to Columbia Records. She was the first contestant in the show’s history to score a Top 40 single and album before the live shows even aired with her independently released album Top Room At The Zoo.

At the end of the night after Spraggan played her last song and left the stage, the crowd began to scream loud for one more song. To my surprise, Spraggan came out and played one more song to her fans and also wished one of her craziest fan there a Happy Birthday as well. Right after the show she came out and thanked everyone who had came out to the show. I expect that the next tour she comes to the US, she will be playing in much bigger venues. Rest assured everyone at her performance will be at her next show when she comes back and I cannot wait to hear her upcoming album coming in Spring 2019.
