[UNTITLED] LAUNCHES PAYWALLED PROJECTS FEATURE
[untitled] unveils its new paywalled projects feature, now available to users across their mobile and desktop apps. The paywalled projects feature allows artists, producers and musicians to add a paywall to projects they’ve uploaded to [untitled]. Whether it’s demos, beats, unreleased songs, works-in-progress, or mastered final albums, users will now be able to sell music directly to their fans through the app and set their own price. Removing the friction of other music marketplaces and external platforms, users will be able to purchase paywalled projects through [untitled] via Apple Pay and all other mobile payment services via Stripe. Artists will only pay standard Stripe processing fees from their determined project price as [untitled] will not take a cut from artist proceeds, only charging a 5% fee on the buyer side.
“We see paid projects as simply another tool included in our subscription—one that supports our mission to nurture and maximize the creative process for artists.”
– Jose Chayet, [untitled] co-founder
“We set out to create the simplest, most delightful way for artists to sell music from their phone. Until now, artists haven’t had anything like this.”
– Dancho Lilienthal, [untitled] co-founder

Today, [untitled] serves a community of over 34,000 paying subscribers and more than 300,000 monthly active users, with an expanding suite of tools developed to allow artists to stay in flow state.
