Watch Hoodrich Pablo Juan lift packs like a set of dumbbells in “Slang Dope” video
The ATL Icon Retreats to His Trap House to Count His Earnings in the Latest Single from BLO The Movie, Pablo’s Upcoming Project
Known for soft-spoken cadences and opulent rhymes, Hoodrich Pablo Juan can sell water to a well. Hypnotically describing his 24/7 hustling schedule, the 1017 Eskimo signee shares “Slang Dope,” his latest video. Over a percolating instrumental from producer CaptainCrunch, Pablo turns his flow into a trance-like mantra, the better to describe his otherworldly level of flexing: “They copy us, wanna come shop with us, too many watches, an octopus.” In the video, Pablo gathers his crew in a trap house, flashing his cash and his jewels, until the Feds come through and he has to bail. “Slang Dope” is the latest single from BLO The Movie, Pablo’s upcoming album, which features appearances from Young Thug, Young Dolph, Gucci Mane, NAV, Gunna, Smooky Margielaa, and more.
“Slang Dope” is the latest in a series of standout reelases from the upcoming project. Last month, Pablo teamed with Smooky Margielaa for”Can’t Fall In Luv,” premiered by The FADER. Pablo’s previous 2018 singles include the Highsnobiety-premiered “Shoebox,” featuring Gucci Mane and NAV, the Complex-premiered, “Screaming Slatt,” featuring Young Thug, and the sinister “Fireworks” (3 million YouTube views). BLO The Movie releases on May 3rd via 1017 Eskimo/Alamo.
