WEST COAST RAP LEGENDS THA EASTSIDAZ RETURN WITH NEW EP ‘STILL EASTY’ WITH FEATURES FROM SNOOP DOGG, BUTCH CASSIDY, AND OCTOBER LONDON
Multi-platinum West Coast rap legends Tha Eastsidaz return with their new EP, Still Easty, out now via Death Row Records/gamma.. The 7-track project, executive produced by Snoop Dogg, brings back the timeless West Coast sound with a modern twist featuring standout collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Butch Cassidy, and October London, along with production from industry veterans BattleCat, Rick Rock, and Jelly Roll.
Upon their return, Tha Eastsidaz shared, “We’re thrilled to be back at work, this is what the fans have been waiting for. We’re excited to create more timeless classics.”
Alongside the project’s release is a three-episode long-form visual featuring the tracks “Hood Been Good,” “Rag Tied,” and “Groove Bacc.” The video perfectly captures how these Long Beach OGs balance their East Side gangster roots with their lavish player lifestyles—showcasing everything from giving back to their hood to celebrating in mansions with champagne and beautiful women.
Tha Eastsidaz, a multi-platinum hip-hop group from Long Beach, California, consists of Snoop Dogg, Tray Deee, and Goldie Loc. Their debut album, Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz, earned them New Artist of the Year, Group, at the 2000 Source Awards. Following this success, they released the critically acclaimed Duces ‘n Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way. The group also starred in their own film, Tha Eastsidaz (2000), and appeared in Baby Boy (2001), The Wash (2001), and Crime Partners (2003). They performed at major events like Krush Groove, the Up In Smoke Tour, and The Puff Puff Pass Tour. Despite disbanding in 2003 due to personal challenges, including Tray Deee’s incarceration, the group reunited in 2014.
