Roman Reigns has been unstoppable for over 1000 days as WWE Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion. He faced many opponents during his run as the top guy of the company. He had twenty-eight title defenses and came out on top in every single one of them.

He is the face of WWE and seems unbeatable forever. There are a few names that could possibly take that title away from him, and in this article, we will see who the most likely contender is to dethrone the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns.

Who Have Roman Reigns Defeated So Far?

He conquered over fifteen opponents from his cousin Jey Uso to international star and influencer Logan Paul. Logan even had a match at this year’s WrestleMania 39 where he fought with Seth “Freakin” Rollins. In that match, he had help from his friend. Following KSI fight history he came out dressed as a Prime bottle (Logan Paul’s signature drink) and was a part of one of the biggest spots of the event. Roman Reigns defeated Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel in 2022.

Who Will Defeat Roman Reigns?

There are a few superstars that could match the strength and agility of Roman Reigns. The entire world thought that the era of The Tribal Chief will come to an end at this year’s WrestleMania. It did not happen, as Cody Rhodes failed to capture the WWE Undisputed World Heavyweight Championship and now, we are left with no one on Roman’s level.

The person who will dethrone Roman could be Cody Rhodes with enough buildup, even at a match at WrestleMania 40 next year. It would mean that Roman Reigns will hold the title for almost another year, reaching something around 1300 days (about 3 and a half years) as champion. Another potential name is Jey Uso. He is the person it all started from, the whole Bloodline saga, and he might be the one to rebel against his cousin eventually and take that title away from him.

Our third and last pick to dethrone Roman Reigns as champion is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER (aka WALTER). He is currently on his way to setting the record as the longest WWE Intercontinental Champion of all time, and after he accomplishes that he will likely lose the title later this year. Going forward he could switch his focus to beat Roman Reigns after himself conquering the whole mid-card title division. It would be a surprising and fitting end to Roman Reigns’ reign (pun intended) and GUNTHER is someone believable enough to take the spot as the face of WWE.
