Watch the video for “The Spark,” which Rolling Stone named one of their 10 Best Country and Americana Songs To Hear Right Now
With a sound steeped in the slow-burning music of Kris Kristofferson and Charley Pride and a direct, beauty-beholding lyricism as informed by family and community as it is by his love of the Notorious B.I.G., William Prince is a rising act in the world of Americana. His debut album Earthly Days won a Juno Award for Best Contemporary Roots Album and he’s opened for the likes of Neil Young and Grammy-nominated singer Yola.
