Friday night in the heart of the Bowery and the headliner was Yeek of South Florida fame who came out to display his unique talents for an energetic New York City crowd. The young star currently supporting his newest EP “IDK WHERE” was joined by fellow young artists Rolls Rome and Dotha for a well-rounded night of music. The three performers were well matched, and they’re sets made for a perfectly curated night of partying downtown.

First out was Rolls Rome, an up and comer from the LA music scene who did an excellent job setting the tone for the night with his set which was short but sweet.

Second to the stage was rap newcomer Dotha who managed to get the audience bopping with his newest singles “Citi” and “Daily” both released earlier this year. Much to the crowds delight Rolls Rome rejoined the party during set two to perform a collaborative track with Dotha as well.

Finally, joined by a full band as well as some programmed tracks Yeek hit the stage to show off his genre bending style. His music has pop sensibility with hip hop undertones and some indie flair. The band layered well with the produced tracks and Yeek proved himself quite the front man.

During his set he played tracks from his new EP as well as tunes from his previous releases and managed to show the audience how you can be equal parts alternative rocker and pop star.

A little more than halfway through his set, a now thoroughly energized Yeek, who by this time had removed his shirt, dove straight into the partying crowd for a true rock n roll crowd surf across the venue.
