ZACH GILL RELEASES NEW SINGLE “WELL SEASONED LOVE”
Singer-songwriter Zach Gill has officially launched his 2026 Song Of The Month Club — a yearlong musical journey delivering twelve songs, each inspired by the mood of the month.
The series began January 30 with “Swan At The Tip Of The Tongue.” Today marks the release of the Valentine’s weekend selection, “Well Seasoned Love,” with “Dragon Smoke” arriving March 6. The songs will be available on all DSPs for streaming, and you can listen to the first two HERE.
“Well Seasoned Love” lands just as ALO begins its annual Tour d’Amour — an annual West Coast tour celebrating love and music. The new single explores connections between rhythm, food, romance and culture. Gill shares: “Love can be a slow simmer or a spicy explosion. It has heat and flavor and movement. It can be intoxicating or grounding.”
Why a Song Of The Month Club?
Over the last few years, Gill recorded dozens of tracks with the intention of putting out a new solo record, but between touring and other musical projects, nothing got released.
“These songs were recorded in different times, places, and head spaces and it was overwhelming to figure out how they all fit together. My manager Josh suggested I roll out one song at a time and then suddenly it felt fun again, more fluid and alive.”
The concept evolved into the Song Of The Month Club — a format that allows Gill to respond to seasons, holidays, and real-time inspiration.
“In choosing the monthly song, I can react to the moment and to the natural human cycles that are part of life. l like that the album is unfolding for me as well as the audience, it’s not set in stone, it can adapt and grow depending on what’s needed. Each song gets its own moment. I’m grateful for those listening in…welcome to the club!”
Gill’s career spans decades as a solo artist, longtime frontman of ALO (his college-born California jam pop band), and as longtime collaborator and keyboardist for Jack Johnson. He is currently on the road for ALO’s Tour d’Amour through March and will join Johnson this summer on the SURFILMUSIC tour.
As the year unfolds, fans can follow each monthly release online — and catch Gill live across the country with his various musical projects. A full list of dates is below, and you can listen to the songs released so far HERE.
