Multiplatinum chart–topping global pop powerhouse Zara Larsson releases her heavily anticipated new single “Midnight Sun”. The energetic song is the title track of the Swedish pop star’s fourth international album, Midnight Sun, which is set for release on September 26, 2025 via Sommer House / Epic Records.

Pre-order the album HERE, which is available alongside an exclusive run of merchandise and physical product, including limited edition signed CDs and autographed vinyl. Stay tuned for the official music video for “Midnight Sun”, set to premiere soon.

Created over the last year with frequent collaborator MNEK, alongside producers Margo XS and Zhone, as well as songwriter Helena Gao—Zara’s latest is a true tour-de-force. The ten track album ripples with confidence, as it’s storytelling bursts with truth and vulnerability, plumbing the depth and growth of Zara’s artistry and journey over nearly 20 years in the public eye. It is unafraid to show all sides of the 27-year-old: lovestruck, wistful, ambitious, cocky, flippant, and uncertain, often in the same breath. The story begins with “Midnight Sun,” the first song written for the album.

“I really am proud of my Swedish pop heritage, so I wanted to write about a Swedish summer where the sun never goes down,” says Zara on both the album and its hypnotizing title track. “I wanted the whole album to feel like it’s a summer night and it never ends. And it doesn’t matter if it’s December: the summer night will be there for you. It’s waiting for you, it will come back for you, and you will come back for it.”

Alongside the new single, today tickets go on sale to the public for the European headlining leg of her Midnight SunTour, which begins October 28 in Munich and wraps November 28 in Stockholm. This follows news of her upcoming February 2026 Australia/New Zealand dates with OneRepublic and her 2025 North American tour with Tate McRae, which begins on August 4 and culminates with back-to-back shows in Los Angeles on September 26 and 27, in line with the release of Zara’s album. Zara Larsson recently kicked off the new era with the confident and rowdy “Pretty Ugly”, alongside an incredible music video directed by Charlotte Rutherford (PinkPantheress, Charli XCX, Ashnniko), and choreographed by Zoi Tatopoulos (FKA Twigs)—fierce, feral, and completely unapologetic.

“Throughout Midnight Sun, I get to just capture that total Scandinavian vibe, which is something that I have grown up with—it’s a huge part of me, my happiest memories and my saddest ones, too. A part of my soul is a Swedish summer night. This record encompasses that, how life is so beautiful it makes you cry,” says Zara.

“It just feels like me—knowing myself, this album is just really, really me. And also,” she notes, “No one can do me the way I can.”
