“The visible effect made on a surface by pressure”

03 Greedo’s warm, bouncy “Trap House (ft. Shoreline Mafia)” (prod Mustard)

03 Greedo, aka The Wolf Of Grape Street, transports us to Southern California in his latest single, “Trap House,” from the forthcoming Still Summer In The Projects. Over a warm, bouncy Mustard beat, Greedo’s mastery of melody shines through with an undeniably catchy hook. It feels like the audible depiction of a tangerine-tinged sunset on a balmy July night in Watts, Los Angeles. As the song ends Greedo asserts his loyalty to his home, crooning in auto-tune, “Grape Street Watts, I’mma thoroughbred.”

“Trap House” features fellow LA mainstays Ohgeesy and Rob Vicious of Shoreline Mafia, both delivering hard-hitting verses about securing their bag at the trap house.

Last week, 03 Greedo announced Still Summer In The Projects, an album executive-produced by Mustard. The album offers a captivating look at Greedo’s mentality in the weeks and months leading up to his prison sentence, using Mustard’s legendary West Coast production and Greedo’s penchant for raw storytelling to craft a project that’s versatile, vulnerable, yet hard-as-nails. Featuring appearances from YG, Shoreline Mafia, and Trilliano, Still Summer In The Projects releases on April 5 via Alamo/Interscope/10 Summers.
