Fashion forward Puerto Rican rapper, Álvaro Díaz, releases new reggaeton bop “1000 CANCIONES” featuring Spanish alt-R&B heartthrob Sen Senra. The track is the third single off forthcoming highly anticipated album, ‘Sayonara,’set to be released later this year via Universal Music Latinoand under the management of NEON16 and Top Floor Talent.

When the pair met a while back in Mexico City, it was a vibe. Álvaro had always been a fan of Sen Senra’s music and felt he had to be part of ‘Sayonara.’ “1000 CANCIONES” was later recorded in Madrid, Spain. “I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences. It’s rare for either of us to do a reggaeton record, that’s why this song is so special,” explains Álvaro about creating the track. Currently, Sen Senra is one of the most promising genre-bending artists hailing from Spain whose music is influenced by indie rock, psychedelia, garage, pop, R&B, and hip-hop.

The visuals were directed by Juanchi González and produced by Haze (Jhayco, Myke Towers, Anuel). Conceptually, the video alternates between fantasy and reality…a fantasy that occurs in the minds of both Álvaro and Sen who dedicate a love song to a female prospect who turns out to be their doctor.

2023 already looks incredibly promising for Álvaro as continues to tread on an upward trayectory as a songwriter. He recently penned Rauw Alejandro’s global smash “Panties y Brasieres” featuring reggaeton icon Danny Yankee and inked a deal with performing rights organization, BMI. Last month, Álvaro announced he will be making his debut in the celebrated festivals Bottlerock in Napa Valley, CA on May 26-28 and Lollapallooza Chile & Argentina on March 17-19.
