ASHNIKKO RELEASES HALLOWEENIE V: THE MOSS KING
Pop disruptor Ashnikko shares Halloween-themed track Halloweenie V: The Moss King.
Over the past 5 years, Ashnikko has made it a tradition to release a Halloween track in celebration of their favourite holiday, which has quickly become a fan-favourite. Previous Halloween singles include Halloweenie, Halloweenie II: Pumpkin Spice, Halloweenie III: Seven Days and Halloweenie IV: Innards. The Slinger and Oscar Scheller-produced track sees Ashnikko take on the persona of The Moss King as they become one with nature.
Halloweenie V: The Moss King follows from Ashnikko’s debut album WEEDKILLER. The 13-track album saw fears and anxieties whether personal or tyrannical, blown up and then broken down. After a run of festivals this summer, including the recently completed Coachella, September saw The WEEDKILLER tour start in the US, dates in Europe and UK to follow including headline shows at London’s Alexandra Palace, Brooklyn Mirage in NYC and Élysée Montmartre in Paris. Their live performances are notoriously riotous – with Ashnikko writhing, jumping and thrashing around.
