Atlanta-Based Dames and Dregs Beer Fest Returns for a Second Year
The award-winning festival wants you to expect more in 2019
The second-annual Dames and Dregs Beer Fest will be held August 10, 2019, once again in downtown Atlanta at the Masquerade (indoor/outdoor at the historic Kenny’s Alley). This year’s fest aims to top the spectacular success of last year’s, and the theme driving it will be EXPECT MORE 2019 — Expect more from the festival, expect more from each other, and expect more out of life.
Named the 2018 Critic’s Choice for best beer festival in Atlanta by Creative Loafing, Dames and Dregs is thrilled to bring you 40+ of the country’s premiere female-owned and staffed breweries and spirits, an arts market, four panel discussions with women in the industry, a food market, two stages with musical performances and DJs, a gaming area, a live-art wall, and more. The performances will include a burlesque show, bands, and all kinds of surprises — all deftly curated by Bullet magazine.
Tickets are on sale now, so grab them while they’re still available. General admission tickets are $35, while VIP experience tickets are $50.
For this year’s community nonprofit partnership, Dames and Dregs is supporting Girls Rock Camp Atlanta, whose mission is to create an empowering and supportive community for self-identified girls and women, trans and gender expansive people through music education, creative expression, and performance.
Dames and Dregs Beer Fest is an Atlanta-based experience that seeks to empower and educate the community by celebrating the female contributions to brewing, both in the present and throughout history. We strive to create an enticing, supportive, and inspiring atmosphere, featuring the hard work and talents of female-led breweries, brewers and brewery employees who are women, as well as female-led businesses and non-profit organizations within the community.
