Fans gather on Atlanta’s westside to celebrate Georgia’s own Latto. The fourth annual Trapper of the Year took place at T.I.’S Trap Music Museum. Karlous Miller, Fat Joe, Young Dro, and hip hop historian, NuFace, were some of the notables in attendance. Attendees toured the museum while enjoying complimentary shots of Mercer + Prince whiskey. The DJ was spinning timeless tracks for fans to sing along and dance to. The crowd was energetic as songs from Latto’s latest album “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” graced their ears. The event staff and guests were hyping each other while participating in the karaoke taking place center floor. There were vendors located outside of the venue.
Attendees were able to purchase food, drinks and Trap Music Museum merchandise. It was a party both inside and outside at the Trap Music Museum as guests were vibing to music, enjoying their drinks and networking with fellow creatives. The doorway began to look like a soul train line as fans and press were everywhere anxiously waiting for the Trapper Of The Year honoree.

Latto walks in wearing a bright, orange Pelle Pelle leather jacket and showing off her pearly, white teeth. The crowd roared and the light show began as many captured the moment at the front of the museum. T.I. presented the honoree and unveiled the new Latto exhibit behind the black curtains, and the two Atlanta rappers embraced one another.
The Georgia Peach is the first female rapper to receive the Trapper of The Year honor. Latto is awarded her own exhibit at the museum, and it includes a life-size figure of the platinum recording artist. The figure is surrounded by peaches that signify Latto being a native of Georgia’s Clayton County. The Trapper Of The Year honor also comes with a custom ring. Artists who contributed to the exhibit are: Mr. Officials, Kaiyenne Pepper, Tiffany Fine Art, Art by Heat, Jillie Creates and Bianca Nolden. The Latto exhibit can be viewed at the Trap Music Museum from Thursday to Sunday.
