The Atlanta Dream have signed Meme Jackson to a training camp contract, the team announced on Wednesday.
A 5-11 guard from the University of Tennessee, Jackson averaged 2.5 rebounds per game in her four years as a Volunteer with 1.8 assists per game. She shot 40.6 percent from the field and 82.9 percent from the line in her senior season. The former McDonald’s All-American led the team with 54 total three-pointers (1.8 per game) and 1.6 steals per game, and shot a team-leading 91.2 percent from the line in conference play last season.
The Atlanta Dream, who is celebrating its 12th season in the WNBA in 2019, returns to State Farm Arena this season for the first time since 2016. Atlanta has qualified for the playoffs eight times, winning conference titles in 2013, 2011 and 2010.
