ATLANTA RAPPER YOUNG NUDY RELEASES NEW SONG & VIDEO “JOHN WAYNE” FEATURING METRO BOOMIN

Atlanta rapper Young Nudy releases his new single and video “John Wayne” alongside Metro Boomin via PDE Records/RCA Records.

The video, directed by INIGHTLYFE and co-directed by Nudy himself, transports viewers to the wild, wild, west in a cinematic small town deep in the 1880s. The video is aptly titled “John Wayne,” a nod to the famous actor known for his roles in Western films during the 70s. It takes viewers on a journey through the Old Western genre, showcasing a western showdown. Young Nudy and Metro Boomin, along with their group of cowboys and cowgirls, are the most sought-after outlaws, engaging in a shootout at the “Bouldercrest Bar”.

This latest single and video follows the release of the official remix of his hit song “Peaches and Eggplants” featuring Latto & Sexxy Red. The original version of the song, which features 21 Savage, climbed the charts and catapulted him into mainstream.

After reaching the top spot on the US Hot 50 TikTok charts last July, the song recently peaked at #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has accumulated 132 million streams and 3.1 billion short form video views. “Peaches and Eggplants” has amassed over 271 million streams worldwide and has garnered over 68 million views on its music video. The track comes for Nudy’s critically acclaimed album Gumbo, one of his most popular projects to-date, with glowing reviews from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Stereogum, XXL Magazine, and more.
