BABY MONEY ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM FOR NEXT WEEK + DROPS NEW SONG AND VIDEO
QC’s Baby Money has released his latest single “Shinin” along with an accompanying music video via Quality Control Music. The new single comes on the heels of the Detroit native having announced his upcoming album H.I.M is slated for release May 10th, with features from fellow Detroit rapper Veeze, Skilla Baby, Peezy, Tee Grizzley and more. Directed by Man Films, “Shinin’s” accompanying music video shows Baby Money surrounded by vintage muscle cars, flashing jewelry, and elegant female companions, as he raps about his come-up and victories in the rap game while hustling his way out of the streets. The new single’s rattling 808 bass, sporadic high-hats, and crisp snare drum paired with Baby Money’s poignant delivery make it a strong contender for being the motivational cruising anthem of the summer. “Shinin” follows last month’s release of “We Getting Money” from the QC signee’s upcoming album.
Baby Money grew up on Detroit’s Westside, known as “12th Street.” He started rapping at the age of 12 and has since continued to hone his craft and has steadily released a slew of mixtapes that put him on the map as one of the Midwest’s most promising untapped artists. After releasing his first project under the QC banner, “Easy Money,” the Detroit rapper was already turning heads amongst fans and industry peers alike.
