BABYTRON ANNOUNCES ‘TRONICLES’ FOR NOVEMBER 8TH + DROPS DOUBLE VIDEO
Detroit rapper BabyTron has announced Tronicles, his annual Halloween album, set to release on November 8th. The announcement comes with a two-part video for “Nightmare On Yo Street” and “Haunted House.” “Nightmare on Yo Street” reimagines Freddy Krueger’s horror legacy —a track that practically lurks as it unfolds, with lines that land as cleverly as they do menacingly. “Haunted House” is packed with Halloween references and punchlines. Throughout the album, BabyTron is startlingly controlled, refining his inimitable style of trash-talk simile rap.
Halloween-themed albums have become a staple for BabyTron’s fans. The ritual began with his very first release back in October 2019, and now, six Halloween drops later, he’s amassed one of Detroit’s most formidable and celebrated catalogs. From sold-out shows to relentless streaming numbers, his influence only keeps growing. This year, a co-sign from Eminem, where BabyTron is one of just two features on The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace), has brought him to new heights.
