BAY AREA ARTISTS KARRI AND P-LO IGNITE DRAKE’S ICEMAN ALBUM

Karri, P-Lo, New Music, Music, Rapper, Rap Music, Rap Artist, Rap, Mac Dre, Drake

Two of Bay Area rap’s hottest acts Karri and P-Lo make their appearances on Drake’s highly anticipated Iceman album out now. Both dynamic artists and producers worked on “2 Hard 4 The Radio” – the bass-boosted new collaboration that nods to “Too Hard For the F***n’ Radio,” by the Legendary Mac Dre.

San Francisco native, Karri, has been a fixture on the R&B scene since releasing his viral 2023 hit “3AM In Oakland”. The record helped him earn the attention of Drake and OVO Chubbs; then he continued to rack up co-signs from Lil Baby, Kehlani, Saweetie, and more. Karri earned Billboard R&B Rookie of the Month for January 2024 and their Artist To Watch for 2025. He is currently a part of Spotify’s AAPI Next Gen campaign. He recently entered a partnership with Bay Area founded, global independent record label, EMPIRE, and shared his own single last week titled “Charge It To The Game”.

Last year, P-Lo collaborated with the Golden State Warriors on For The Soil, the first-ever hip-hop album released by an NBA Franchise. He’s been defining the sound of his region with slick-talking slang and booming beats for over a decade. Born and raised in Pinole, CA, P-Lo has crafted hits like the Platinum-selling “Act Right” for Yo Gotti and has collaborated with artists like Kehlani, Wiz Khalifa, and YG. As an artist, he released iconic anthems like “Put Me On Somethin'” ft. E-40 and guested on Denise Julia’s smash hit “B.A.D.” (85 million Spotify streams). The track continues his mission to infuse his sound and the sound of the Bay Area into hip-hop’s mainstream, and continues to establish the artist as one of his region’s contemporary icons.
