BETO GUZMÁN: A STORY OF PERSEVERANCE THAT TRANSCENDS THROUGH MUSIC, INTRODUCING HIS NEW SINGLE “TERAPIA INTENSIVA”

Alberto Guzmán Ruiz, known professionally as Beto Guzmán, is a Regional Mexican singer from Tepalcingo, Morelos, Mexico, whose story is defined by perseverance, a passion for music, and an unwavering determination to pursue his dreams.

Since birth, Beto has faced the challenges of living with a cleft lip and palate, congenital conditions that, rather than defining his limitations, have become part of a story of resilience in which his love for music has served as the driving force behind his journey into the music industry. Although he developed a deep desire to sing as a child, his fear of criticism led him to postpone for a time the step that would ultimately change his life.

His musical journey officially began on April 30, 2010, when he entered a singing competition in his hometown and took first place. That victory earned him the admiration and affection of his community, encouraging him to continue pursuing his dream through performances at local events and appearances with various groups throughout the region.

In 2018, he began posting covers of popular songs of the moment, gradually developing his own identity and connecting with audiences through his distinctive vocal style. However, it was through social media that his talent reached an entirely new level.

In 2022, during the pandemic, he created his TikTok account and began sharing musical videos that quickly captured the attention of thousands of users. His organic growth and the viral success of his performances helped him reach an increasingly larger audience, accumulating hundreds of millions of views and turning digital platforms into a gateway for showcasing his talent far beyond his hometown.

One of the defining moments of his career came with his rendition of “El Caminante,” which caught the attention of Luis Antonio López, known as “El Mimoso.” In August 2022, the acclaimed singer invited Beto to share the stage during the Expo Feria de Tulancingo in Hidalgo, where they performed three songs together: “El Caminante,” “No Llega el Olvido,” and “Libro de Recuerdos.” Their performances went viral across digital platforms, marking a turning point in Beto Guzmán’s career and opening the door to new opportunities within the Mexican music industry.

For more than three years, he was part of El Mimoso’s professional team, an experience that gave him the opportunity to perform throughout Mexico and the United States, expand his professional horizons, and strengthen his stage presence. During this period, his solo rendition of “Qué Agonía” also helped broaden his reach and attract new followers.

Another significant milestone in his career came with his participation in the album Desde la Playa Vol. 2, where he performs the song “Quisiera Saber” alongside Carin León, Luis Antonio López “El Mimoso,” and Luis Ángel “El Flaco.” The collaboration became one of the most-streamed tracks from the album and has accumulated more than 120 million views across digital platforms, further expanding Beto Guzmán’s digital reach and reaffirming his ability to connect with audiences through his voice.

Throughout his career, Beto Guzmán has shared the stage with prominent figures in Regional Mexican music, including Julio Preciado, Luis Ángel “El Flaco,” Pancho Barraza, Jorge Medina, Josi Cuen, Trono de México, and Edwin Luna, artists he deeply admires and respects.

Today, Beto Guzmán continues to build his career in Mexican music alongside Azteca Music Group, carrying a story that demonstrates how talent, dedication, and the courage to believe in oneself can transform obstacles into opportunities. His evolution from a local singer to a social media phenomenon marks the beginning of a new chapter, as he seeks to bring his voice to new stages and win over audiences through his music.

Beto Guzmán takes heartbreak to the extreme with “Terapia Intensiva”, a norteño sax track that transforms the pain of a breakup into a desperate fight to win back the person you love. Featuring direct lyrics and metaphors that compare the absence of a loved one to a medical emergency, the singer delivers an emotionally charged performance backed by the infectious rhythms and widespread appeal of Regional Mexican music.
