BKTHERULA is giving into the feeling on “ADDICTED2U”, the latest single from her forthcoming album N5ON, due later this fall via Warner Records. Following the release of “I Go Punk,” “ADDICTED2U” featuring underscores offers another glimpse into the world BK is building with N5ON, a project rooted in movement, spontaneity, connection, and the freedom of simply being in the moment.
Built around the rush of seeing someone across the room and immediately becoming consumed by their presence, “ADDICTED2U” captures the intoxicating pull of attraction before you have time to overthink it. It’s that split-second feeling when a night changes because you lock eyes with someone and suddenly everything else fades into the background.
“‘ADDICTED2U’ is really about seeing somebody across the room and instantly feeling drawn to them,” BK shares. “You don’t even know them yet, but something about them already feels familiar. It’s that feeling where you’re like, ‘Yeah, I need to know you.’ You’re not thinking too much about what happens next. You’re just going off the feeling and letting the moment be what it is.”
The single arrives as the second preview of N5ON, an album that marks a new creative chapter for BK.
