CANDIACE RELEASES NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO FOR “BENEFITS (PT. II)” FEATURING Q PARKER

Rising R&B powerhouse CANDIACE releases her newest single and video entitled “Benefits (Pt. II)” [feat. Q Parker] premiering exclusively on BET Soul.

The track was written by Nyerere Davidson, Q Parker, and Candiace Dillard-Bassett. It was produced by Yontan Watts, isashleetho, and Alejandro Villacorta.

On the track, soulful guitar riffs set the stage for Candiace’s sultry vocals to tell the tale of a relationship that is more about the physical than building an emotional connection. Q Parker lends his vocals to the second verse as he begs Candiace to stay. The two join forces as the song peaks to a powerful culmination, with Candiace singing “you don’t want a relationship, you just want the benefits” as Q Parker belts out “baby tell me why you’re feeling this way.”

Candiace built widespread hype with her debut album, Deep Space. Right out of the gate, it opened with more than half a million streams in its first week. It also notably became one of the Top 25 R&B albums in the country, reaching #24 on the Billboard Current R&B album chart. In addition to success on the charts, the record earned praise from R&B superstars Anita Baker and Toni Braxton.

Candiace will be promoting her music and the video for “Benefits (Pt. II)” in an October 28 appearance on The Real.
