Channel Tres announces debut album + shares lead single
Channel Tres announces his debut album Head Rush, which is set for release on June 14th via RCA Records. The album’s announcement arrives alongside new single “Berghain”, which features fellow South LA artist Barney Bones and serves as a first taste of what fans can expect from the album. Head Rush features all of the sonic hallmarks for which Channel Tres has become known since the release of his now-classic 2018 single “Controller,” but finds him incorporating previously unheard influences that mark the beginning of a new musical chapter. “Berghain” makes that immediately clear — it showcases an urgency unlike anything else in Channel’s catalog to date.

Speaking about “Berghain,” Channel shares, “It’s about the time I played Berghain and how the culture in that environment made me feel, I didn’t feel weird anymore. Everyone’s the same, the goal for everyone in that place is to enjoy themselves and be free, and music played a pivotal role in that. It was the main thing for me and I wanted to document that experience I had there through music so that I always have that memory in my life. So I can feel that memory while I’m performing and relive that experience”.
